Series against the Hawks didn’t exactly go as I’d hoped. The result is about what I may have thought but I’d expected this series to go much further than 4 games. At this point in time I believe we can beat the Hawks but we didn’t always have things go our way. Keeping it close in 3 of the 4 games was a plus. It was a great season coming from 12th in the Western Conference to a WC position and get our 3rd year in a row in the playoffs. I got to experience the playoff push in person with my first game at the X and I’ll always hold this season special for that reason. This obviously isn’t how I’d want this season to end, but there’s only 1 Stanley Cup and 16 teams enter those playoffs. Sadly we’re not the team to hoist it this season. I feel if we’re able to keep our team together and gain possibly a few key pieces we can go further in the future. Congrats to the Hawks and thanks to the Wild for a great season, glad to support this team.
